What can an MSCA GreenSTAR do for your building?


By utilizing an MSCA STAR Contractor that has qualified for the GreenSTAR designation for all of your buildings’ system needs, you are:

What it takes to become an MSCA GreenSTAR contractor

Prior to becoming a designated GreenSTAR, MSCA STAR contractors must demonstrate a commitment to sustainability by meeting specific requirements. To become GreenSTAR qualified, a contractor must:
  • Be an MSCA STAR Qualified Contractor
  • Employ at least one energy, LEED or sustainability specialist
  • Verify that at least twenty-five percent of employees have participated in an energy-specific training or education program
  • Demonstrate that their company is an ENERGY STAR partner with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
  • Offer sustainable solutions and conservation measures
